Hanson Performance Horses - David and Becky Hanson

After having qualified for the National Reined Cow Horse World Show in Stephensville, Texas in both the Two-Rein and the Bridle, David Hanson and Arc Dyna Cee - owned by David Hanson - placed 6th overall in the Two-Rein. Currently in foal to CD Lights, we look forward to seeing what Dyna produces for us next spring!

Having marked a 218 in the first go, Becky Hanson and Whiz N Imp, owned by Jeannie and Holly LeRoy, made the NRHA Derby Intermediate Open and Limited Open 1 and 2 Finals. Congratulations to everyone.....what a thrill! /Video

Congratulations to Pam Oshay and her new acquisition, West Coast Smarty. “Duke” had a great weekend in Burbank at the CRHA Challenge, winning the Novice Horse Open with a 74.5 and then going on to be the Open Derby Reserve Champion and winning the Intermediate Open and Limited Open Derby marking a 149.5 with David Hanson.

After having won her first Rookie Saddle at the Best In The West Year End Show, Kelsey Njus and Dun It Tejons went on to win the Rookie Class at the Northwest Affiliate Finals in Nampa, Idaho. This was a year of Firsts as Kelsey won her first NRHA Plaque, Bronze Trophy, and ultimately her first Trophy Saddle as well. Good luck Kelsey in Oklahoma City as you run for the NRHA Rookie of the Year Title! We will all be pulling for you! /Video

For the second year in a row, Peggy Fry and JP Union Chic qualified for the Select Worlds in Amarillo, Texas. Congratulations are also in order as the pair has qualified for the Adequan North American Affiliate Finals in Oklahoma City in the Novice Horse Non Pro. This will be Peggy’s first trip back to OKC as an Affiliate Qualifier! Good Luck – run like the wind Peggy!

For the second year in a row, Kaitlyn Hurst qualified for both the NRHA Northwest Affiliate Finals in the Youth and the AQHA Youth Worlds in the Reining on her versatile gelding Anuther Smart Chic. In addition, she placed third at the NRHCA Snaffle Bit Futurity in the Limited Youth. After winning the prestigious class last year, Kaitlyn came back to do an outstanding job again this year. Congratulations on a great year.

Congratulations to Becky Hanson and Ms Topsail Lee, owned by Lori Soma for a great season. Elle will be the 2009 West Coast Reining Horse Associations Year End Open Champion and Intermediate Open Reserve Champion. Elle and her owner, Lori Soma, will be the WCRHA Year End Novice Horse Non Pro Champions as well. In addition, Elle qualified for the Northwest Affiliate Finals in all three divisions of the Non Pro as well as the Novice Horse Non Pro, Open and Intermediate Open. Ultimately qualifying for the Adequan North American Affiliate Finals in OKC in the Intermediate Open. You have had a great year Lori and we thank you for giving us the opportunity to show this great mare. It has been a pleasure to help you both accomplish your goals and we look forward to your continued growth as a rider and showman.

Jac’s Peacemaker and Tiffany Andrews deserve a high five on their Best in the West Year End Show Non Pro, Intermediate Non Pro, and Limited Non Pro win! Just when we thought her year was winding to a close, Tiffany and Peacemaker then went on to Win the Non Pro at the CRHA Challenge in Burbank and were Reserve in the Intermediate Non Pro. Most touching was her receipt of the Rebecca Goss perpetual trophy. All in all, lots of loot for the duo including Tiffany’s first NRHA Bronze Trophy. Congratulations as well to your qualification for the Northwest Affiliate Finals in all three divisions of the Non Pro and Novice Horse Non Pro. What a great season for you and Peacemaker
