Congratulations to West Coast Smarty and David Hanson on winning the first Annual Rein for the Roses in Elk Grove, CA. The pair was draw #1 and left nothing on the table! Owned by Pam Oshay, "Duke" has become a barn favorite. We look forward to seeing his run at the NRHA Derby in June.
After selling her Affiliate Finalist Rookie horse, Kelsey embarked on a new year with a new partner...Bedazzled Banjo. Congratulations to the two of them on a great season so far. WCRHA Non Pro and Limited Non Pro Shootout Reserve Champion (with co-champions). Also, the pair marked an all time high score for Kelsey of a 73.5 at the WCRHA Affiliate show in July to win both Non Pro Novice Horse divisions. Finally, the duo won checks in 2 of the Reining by the Bay Derby Divisions with a 215. With a couple of bronzes, a buckle, and several thousand dollars in prize money, these two have gotten off to a great start this year. You will see them at the Northwest Affiliate Finals in the Non Pro divisions as well as the Novice Horse Non Pro. Good luck with the rest of the season!
A round of applause to Whiz N Imp and Lori Soma who were the Limited Non Pro Reserve Circuit Champions at the Cactus Classic in March. Not too bad for their first show together! The pair has also qualified for the Northwest Affiliate Finals in all of the Non Pro Divisions and the Novice Horse Non Pro Level 2. Congratulations guys.
Congratulations to Leah Martin and Slide Zone on winning one of the coveted "Reining by the Bay" buckles! With just a few lessons under her belt, she showed a reiner for the first time and knocked out a 71.5 and 70 to win the Green as Grass Circuit at RBB. After a 3 year hiatus, Slide Zone appeared to be pretty happy to be back in action as well. Here's to the rest of the season. Great job!

Congratulations to Peggy Fry on her purchase of Whoa Dun It (aka Mac) from Laura Day. Enduringly referred to as "Mac N Frys", the pair gets along fabulously and we are thrilled to see Peggy back in the saddle again! We'll be sure to make the most of what show season we have left. Cheers to you both!

Thank you to Lance and Heather Hayden for the opportunity to ride and show Sweet Ruf Sadie. Congratulations to David Hanson and Sweet Ruf Sadie for making NRCHA Futurity Intermediate Open Finals!

After having qualified for the National Reined Cow Horse World Show in Stephensville, Texas in both the Two-Rein and the Bridle, David Hanson and Arc Dyna Cee - owned by David Hanson - placed 6th overall in the Two-Rein. Currently in foal to CD Lights, we look forward to seeing what Dyna produces for us next spring!
